There is a new App for business by WhatsApp. Businesses finally have a
messaging solution. The App called WhatsApp Business is available for
free download on Android devices for now although it intends to introduce a version for iPhone shortly.
The app provides all the basic functionality you’d want from a business
app. You can create a profile for your Business with information like a
description, address, and contact. What's more is the ability to enable
quick replies for answers to common questions. The app also makes it
possible to send mass messages at once to group contacts.
WhatsApp Chief Operating Officer Matt Idema has revealed that WhatsApp intends to charge businesses for some services on this new app in the future. However all current
features in the new app are free.
WhatsApp Business application is already in the Google Play store and users in Britain, Indonesia, Italy, Mexico and the United States are using it. It is expected to be available for the rest of the world in the coming weeks.
